Interests/hobbies I like to spend time at the beach or off somewhere quiet, like camping. Movies, especially horror and thrillers. Sharing time with friends, have some laughs and just be me. My dog Bev_Lee is a great source of entertainment and companionship and doubles up well as my cardio partner. She's buff.

Started training in: 1995
Reason for starting: After leaving the racehorse industry in 1994 I was seriously under weight with no shape about me what so ever.
Training programme: 5 days a week, with some cardio.

Role models/ inspiration: there are so many people I draw from and for many reasons. On the local front Jo Rogers for her posing style and friendly personality; Di Shipway & Glen Purtell both have been very helpful and encouraging. On an aesthetic view I look at people like Lenda Murray, Corey Everson and Yollander Hughes, each different but to me each pleasing in shape.

FUTURE PLANS TO COMPETE:
Some of my competition plans for this year have been sidelined till maybe next year because of my decision to make a career change. So while I'm doing courses at the moment, I'm still training with the intent of competing later this year. I'm also looking ahead at other competitions in the next year or two hopefully abroad
