The 2004 Arnold Fitness Classic Expo weekend was a great success. I saw many old friends and made some new ones. If you've never been to the Arnold Fitness Classic Expo, you should try to make the next one. I know you'll have a great time.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank a few folks for their kindness, generosity, and support that they've given over the years. You truly are classic examples of the few "good guys" in the business!

Thank you very much to Kimberly, Steve, and Damon of Sheer Vanity. You were so kind to give an up and coming, cross-over-from-bodybuilding-to-fitness lady, Katie-Kat Madden, the opportunity to re-introduce herself to the sports world. I wish there were more folks like you out there! Oh yeah...and you've got a GREAT clothing line!!!

Thanks to Jan, Kevin, and Rebecca of Jan Tana. You've always done right by me over the years and I will always cherish our friendship!

Many thanks go to Russ and the great folks at Bodybuilding.com. Russ...You are one of the most kindest and generous guys in the business and I thank you for all the help and support you've given me and the Athletes over the years!

I want to also take this opportunity to thank the Athletes of this great sport. I guess it goes without saying that without you....there would be no sport! I want to wish you all success in all of your future endeavors!

Lets not forget the fans. You are the ones that bring out the best in the Athletes when you scream, yell, and cheer them to victory. As you may or may not know, the sport of bodybuilding is evolving...and sometimes it's hard to tell where it will end up. Please remember this...Although the Arnold and the Olympia are nice, huge shows....lets not forget the local shows and the promoters of local shows...like Ed and Betty Pariso in Texas, who with the help of fans, will make their SWPro show this year a success, and Kathy Conners in Florida who's putting on the ALL STAR CLASSIC. (check out femuscle.org's events page for more info on both of those events) I want to mention Jan Tana here again...It is her devotion and commitment to the sport that really makes her NATIONAL show a great venue and brings the feel of a hometown show!

Remember...it's the local shows that provide a venue for the ladies to compete and get invited to the larger shows. Additionally, I urge each and every one of you fans to continue to give your support to the hard working Athletes and to do business with those companies that actually promote, support, AND SPONSOR the athletes and not just provide lip service. They need you now more than ever....Oh and companies and entities that only provide "lip service"....YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!....AND SO DO WE! (reads - slumping sales!)

I want to also thank the photographers. Bill Dobbins, Steve Wennerstrom, Bill Jentz, John Nafpliotis, Paul Goode, George Bond, Tre` Scott, and a host of others who work hard to create superb images of these fantastic Athletes for the print mags, internet and the Athlete's portfolio.

And last but not least, I want to thank the promoters and sponsors of these events, and the hardworking, no respect getting, website guys like: Andy of www.andysmusclegoddesses.de, Arjan of www.delimit.net/~deekay, (oh yeah...and me:}...hehehe) that promote the Athletes and companies that support the Athletes, and bring you great content month after month. Thank you one and all for making the sport of bodybuilding and fitness a success! (and helping to keep it alive and well on the internet!)
